Hello Dear One,
Recently, I wrote a list of my little wins.
We’re so used to pushing ourselves to do more that we barely take the time to recognise what we’ve already done. We qualify the good with ‘people do that all the time though’ or a fear that we’re somehow showing off.
This can be incredibly damaging to our self-worth, and our sense of safety within ourselves.
The important thing isn’t how others view your life.
Let me say that again.
The important thing isn’t how others view your life.
It’s what you think about it, what you feel.
And, at first, it might feel counter-intuitive, but all of your wins matter – as do you.
Thanks for being here and being you.
All love,
Jo

You are absolutely right. Small victories are also victories. There is no need to dwell on the fact that they are not grandiose. If you learn to appreciate all victories, be they small or large, it will be easier to live. Thank you, Jo. For reminding me of this.
This exercise was harder than I thought!
