This week’s episode is a deep dive on how to work with your inner critic - the part of you that can say horrible and harsh things about who you are and what you might achieve.
Some of my deepest work has been to bring this part of me on board. You heard right, it’s not about rejecting it or pushing it away - this part wants love and reassurance.
As you listen consider:
What are the things I say about myself? Are they fair?
Is there a particular area in my life this part goes for? Why?
What happens in your body when you move into supportive self-talk?
What would be different if you did this consistently?
As a little helping hand here are some examples of unsupportive and supportive self-talk that might just get you started.
When you can master this area your whole world shifts. And, it’s not a one and done. All parts of you need to be consistently cared for.
